We’ve got a good one on TBS tonight at 9:07pm ET with the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers. It’s Game 4 — 1 team is done with a loss and both teams hate each other. How can we go wrong? I for one am going to get down with a little same game parlay. We can always get wild with these because we only have to bet .1 unit to make them worth it. It would take us losing 10 of them in a row just to lose 1 normal bet (roughly). I like those odds, people. Feels right.

This one has the look and feel of a “mom’s spaghetti” game for Anthony DeSclafani. He’s likely to puke all over his shoes. You see, the Giant could move on with a win, which would obviously be huge. The issue is, DeSclafani hasn’t been good against the Dodgers this season. On the year, DeSclafani has pitched 27 innings against the Dodgers and he’s give up 22 earned runs. That’s a 7.33 ERA over 6 starts, which is awful. In 2 of the starts, he lasted only 2.2 innings and in 1 of them he gave up 10 runs. That should be illegal. He’s what’s called a “fake pitcher” on the streets because his numbers look good to the naked eye but when we investigate further, we learn the truth. In 11 starts against teams .500 or better, our boy is 1-6 with a 5.77 ERA and a 1.509 WHIP. The Dodgers have a great chance to shell this guy.

San Francisco Giants vs Los Angeles Dodgers over 11.5 (+300)
I don’t have a clue who is pitching for the Dodgers but I don’t even care. It doesn’t matter. The Giants are likely to top out at 4-5 runs. That’s just who they are. They’re up 2-1 in this series and haven’t scored more than 4 runs in any of the games. They are reliant on pitching and they could easily not get it tonight. I already said my piece on DeSclafani and even though he made us some coin on the season in K-props, this isn’t the spot to get cute. This could easily end up in a 9-4 type win for the Dodgers that would keep them fighting for another game. This is in the range of outcomes and we are getting a deal at +924.
