Jim McIngvale better known as ‘Mattress Mack’ has tweeted that he’s looking for a sports book within the US to accept a $1 million wager on the Tennessee Titans to beat the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead stadium in the AFC Championship game.
Who is Mattress Mack?
You may remember Mattress Mack from the 2019 World Series where he lost over $13 million betting on his beloved Houston Astros to beat the Nationals. So let’s just bet against his picks right? Well thankfully we’re already on the Kansas City side in our picks for the game.
While it may seem a lot to your average American, Mattress Mack has a net worth $300 million thanks to his Houston-based Gallery Furniture chain, which he started from his pickup truck in 1981 with $5,000 in life savings.

Current odds at PointsBet in New Jersey are +285, but Mattress Mack is looking for +300 instead from any legal US sportsbook. This means he’ll cash for $3 million profit instead of $2.85 million if Derrick Henry and co can pull off the upset on Sunday afternoon.
The Titans have already beaten the Chiefs once this season back in Week 10, 35-32. Derrick Henry had a monster game rushing for 188 yards and two touchdowns in Nashville. For those you that remember, this was Patrick Mahomes first game back after his ankle injury, he still finished the game with a season-high 446 passing yards.
When all is said and done Mattress Mack is just like all of us, a sports fan betting on the action – he just has slightly more money to put down.
