The best time of the year — or at least one of the best times of the year and surely the best that doesn’t include football — is upon us. March has arrived, which means college basketball takes center stage for its month of glory. Selection Sunday is on the immediate horizon following conference tournament action and then the NCAA Tournament will tip off on Thursday, March 16 (or on Tuesday, March 14 if you count the First Four).
Here are all of the important game times and television channels to get you ready to watch everything that March Madness has to offer.

March Madness 2023 schedule, including Selection Sunday
Some mid-major conference tournaments have already wrapped up as of Tuesday, March 7. The major conference tournaments such as the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, and SEC will be played this week. The final conference tournament games will be contested on Selection Sunday, March 12.
At that point you can start filling out your brackets on Sunday night and they must be completed when round 1 of the Big Dance begins on Thursday, March 16 (the First Four isn’t included in pools). The NCAA Tournament concludes with the National Championship on Monday, April 3 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas preceded by the Final Four semifinal games at the same location on Saturday, April 1.
