Chase Young to the Washington Redskins. Jeff Okudah to the Detroit Lions. Derrick Brown to the Carolina Panthers. Isaiah Simmons to the Arizona Cardinals. C.J. Henderson to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Javon Kinlaw to the San Francisco 49ers….

Quarterbacks may have been the toast of the 2020 NFL Draft, especially in the early stages, but there was plenty of defense to go around. Now that the draft has come and gone, odds to win 2020 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year have been posted.

Young, who went No. 2 overall to the Redskins behind Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals), is an obvious heavy favorite. The former Ohio State defensive end was touted by many as the top prospect in the class regardless of position and was a slam dunk to be selected by Washington. In his team’s 4-3 defense, Young is already penciled in as the starter on the right side opposite Ryan Kerrigan. He should have plenty of opportunities to rack up a whole host of sacks, which he did throughout his three-year college career with the Buckeyes.

Nobody else comes close to Young in the odds department, but Simmons is second—with a relatively sizable advantage over the third favorites (fellow linebackers Kenneth Murray and Patrick Queen). The former Clemson Tiger is likely to start right away in Arizona’s 3-4 defensive set. He is set to play right inside linebacker and could immediately become the best of a quartet that also includes Chandler Jones, Jordan Hicks, and De’Vondre Campbell.
