After the blockbuster trade of last week, it will be interesting how this battle of Los Angeles will change in future years. The Clippers have been dominating this encounter of late, winning 13 of the last 16 against the Lakers. However, with Luka Doncic coming into the fold, that level of success might be hard for tonight’s hosts to maintain. While the Slovenian will not take to the floor on Tuesday, we should still be in for a fascinating battle between these rivals. You can find out our NBA picks for tonight’s biggest games, but for now, let’s get into my Lakers vs Clippers Same Game Parlay picks.
LeBron James over 8.5 assists (-111)
Ivica Zubac over 12.5 rebounds (-102)
James Harden over 21.5 points (-111)
Lakers vs Clippers Same Game Parlay odds: +518
LeBron James (LAL) over 8.5 assists (-111)
LeBron James has been terrific at passing the ball of late, managing to record at least 9 assists in 4 of his last 5 games. He came just 1 assist shy on the other occasion. It is worth noting that earlier in January, he was able to collect 11 assists against this Clippers team too. With Anthony Davis now gone, it leaves the Lakers temporarily short of shot creators, with James having to take up more responsibility on that front. Instead of Davis, James will have a rim-runner in Jaxson Hayes to look out for on lobs. That should help his assists numbers here. The Lakers have been 2nd in the NBA in true shooting percentage over the last 10 games. With that level of efficiency, LeBron’s playmaking efforts should not go to waste.

Ivica Zubac (LAC) over 12.5 rebounds (-102)
Croatian center Ivica Zubac dominated the boards when these teams last met, pulling down 19 in the process. He should be able to do the same tonight. Over the last 10 games, the Lakers are 18th in rebounding percentage, so have had issues in this area. Being matched up against Hayes should be beneficial for him too. The Lakers man is not a threat from the outside, which should allow Zubac to drop back into the paint defensively. Hayes also chases blocks, which should put Zubac in great offensive rebounding position to help pad his numbers. He could spend time matched up against Jarred Vanderbilt too, but just like with Hayes, Zubac will have a bulk advantage over him. Expect the Croatian to get great positions in the paint throughout, leading to a solid rebounding night.
James Harden (LAC) over 21.5 points (-111)
James Harden has been scoring the ball well, managing at least 22 points in 3 of his last 5 games. That includes a 40-point explosion against the Milwaukee Bucks. He also managed 21 points in the last game between these teams. With Kawhi Leonard back and drawing more and more defensive attention, Harden should find it easier to get going himself. The last meeting between these teams also saw Davis man the paint for the Lakers. Without his defensive impact, Harden would find it easier to score on the inside. Harden should also find himself matched up against Austin Reaves at times, with the Lakers man being far from an outstanding defender. Being one of the best one-on-one players in the league, Harden should be able to exploit this. Back him to have a strong scoring night here.
