KBO picks and predictions
Wednesday’s five-game slate sees some of the league’s top pitchers take the mound, including former Miami Marlins starter Dan Straily. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.
Hanwha Eagles Moneyline (+146)
Lotte Giants pitcher Dan Straily might be getting the start here against the Hanwha Eagles, but that does not scare me one bit. In his last seven starts, Straily took a no-decision and recorded his last win back on May 10. Straily may hold an impressive 2.53 ERA, but his Giants teammates continue to let him down with reduced offensive output. One of those losses on Straily’s record came against the Hanwha Eagles. Straily lasted only 4.1 innings while allowing seven hits and two earned runs. I love the plus money especially knowing Straily lasted just 4.2 innings in his last start against the NC Dinos.
KT Wiz Moneyline (-134)
After a KT Wiz win in game one of this series, Kia will look to rebound in game two on Wednesday. KT Wiz have won five of their last six and sit in seventh place in the KBO standings. Although it is still relatively early in the season, they need to continue playing well to put pressure on the current playoff teams. The Kia Tigers, on the other hand, are now in sixth place and have lost three games in a row. Head-to-head, the KT Wiz lead the season series four games to three. Given how well KT Wiz are playing, I am ready to jump on the train until they lose. With former Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Despaigne having already beaten the Tigers once this season, I’m confident he can do it again.
NC Dinos Moneyline (-198)
One of my favorite bets of the five-game slate belongs to the NC Dinos moneyline. They did not let me down last night and continued to put cash into my pockets. Having won three straight games and seven of the previous 10 games, the Dinos are back to their dominant ways. Not to forget, the Dinos will be starting Jae Hak Lee–who already has taken care of the Wyverns this season. Back in May, Lee went 6.0 innings while allowing one earned run, two hits, and one walk. The Dinos should be everyone’s favorite bet on Wednesday, especially since they have won five of their last seven road games. Give me the Dinos to finish off this three-team parlay.
KBO parlay
For those of you looking for bigger returns, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +547.
