KBO picks and predictions

Sunday’s 5-game slate features some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

LG Twins -1.5 (-126) vs NC Dinos

With a recent loss on Friday, the LG Twins sit 2.5 games back of first place in the KBO. On Sunday morning they will hope to regain some momentum when they start Casey Kelly. He is 7-4 on the season and has an ERA of 3.04. He has pitched well against the Dinos too, posting an ERA of 1.64. With the recent win on Friday, the NC Dinos have rocketed up to 4th place. The Dinos will start Lee Jae-Hak, who is 2-2 on the season with an ERA of 6.04.

Even though the Dinos got the better of the Twins on Friday, this looks like a good spot for the Twins. They have the clear pitching advantage, so a Twins win on the run line is the play here.

Kiwoom Heroes ML (-166) vs Kia Tigers

This game looks to be an excellent bounce-back spot as the Heroes will be starting Eric Jokisch. He has an overall record of 11-5 this season with an ERA of 2.45. His track record against the Tigers speaks for itself, as well, posting a record of 1-0 with an ERA of 1.80. The Tigers may have won on Friday morning, but they are one of the worst teams in the league. This is shown by their 9th-place standing. The Tigers will plan to start Im Gi-Yeong following Saturday’s rainout and he is 2-4 on the year with an ERA of 4.71.

The Heroes are the clear favorites, especially with one of their aces on the mound. The clear pitching advantage is the reason why backing the Heroes are the choice.

SSG Landers ML (-110) vs Samsung Lions

The last time we saw these teams play on Friday, the Lions beat the Landers 3-2. Samsung is holding onto 3rd place at the moment are 3 games back of first place. They will start Choi Chae-Heung, who is 2-6 on the season and has an ERA of 5.90. He has also had plenty of struggles when facing the Landers, posting a record of 0-1 with an ERA of 5.68.

The Landers will start Wilmer Font, who has a record of 5-3 with an ERA of 3.80. He has been elite against the Lions and has an ERA of 0.69 against them. Do not let the Friday loss steer you away from this SSG Landers team. They have the clear pitching advantage here with Font, so backing the SSG Landers to win looks to be the best play for Sunday.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a 3-team parlay, which pays out at +448.
