KBO picks and predictions
Saturday’s five-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.
LG Twins/Doosan Bears Under 10.5 Runs (-122)
Doosan is averaging just 4.0 runs over their last five games, but they still are playing good defense, allowing 4.4 runs over this stretch. The Twins starter, Chan-gyu Lim has also been very good against the Bears this season, posting an ERA of 2.08 against them. The under is 10-4 in their 14 head to head meetings this season and 6-0 in the last six meetings. I will look for the offenses to continue their struggles and will take the under in this crucial game.
NC Dinos/Lotte Giants Under 11.5 Runs (-126)
We will be looking to back a low scoring game here on Saturday, as the best team in the KBO face off with the Lotte Giants. The Giants just had a nice few wins against the Twins, but still have quite a lot of work to do if they are going to make the playoffs. The Giants will be expected to start Se-woong Park, who is 7-7 with an ERA of 4.45. He has not faced the Dinos this season, which could give him an early edge. The Dinos will start Myung-gi Song, who is 3-2 with an ERA of 3.88. Song has faced the Giants a total of five times this season, allowing just two runs over 9.0 innings. Most of these appearances came out of the bullpen, but in his one start against them, he allowed two runs over 5.0 innings and picked up a win.
Samsung Lions Money Line (+108)
We will be looking to back Samsung here as I believe they have the better pitcher. That being Chae-heung Choi, who is 7-5 on the season with an ERA of 3.74. However, he is coming off his best start of the season, a complete game shutout against the LG Twins. He has now allowed just five runs over his last 27.1 innings.
The Kiwoom Heroes will counter with Seung-ho Lee, who is 4-5 with a 4.91 ERA. He has also been good over his last five starts, allowing seven runs over his last 27.2 innings. The only issue is that he has an ERA of 12.00 against the Lions.
Both teams are not in the best form, but I will still look to Samsung because they have the better pitcher.
For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +578.
