Are oddsmakers making a mistake once again? The Kia Tigers have been underdogs throughout their series with the NC Dinos but managed to claim a victory in everyone thus far. Even without their top slugger in the lineup, they are still pilling in the runs as they have scored seven runs in back to back games. The downfall of the NC Dinos is really as they have lost now four of the last six games. At even money, it’s hard to pass on a team that has beaten the best team in the league twice in a row.
LG Twins Money Line (-295)
- The LG Twins have won seven of the last nine games
- The LG Twins have won the past two straight games against the Eagles
A very juicy line here, however with two out of the three picks of our parlay being underdog plays, it’s always worthwhile to have a potential lock. The LG Twins have been absolutely on fire for the past weeks as they are easily taking care of the Hanwha Eagles right now. In the past two games combined, the Twins have dropped 16 total runs compared to the Eagles six. There is a very solid chance the Eagles could once again go on a double-digit losing streak here.
SK Wyverns Money Line (+123)
- KT Wiz starting pitcher Odrisamer Despaigne has lost 3 starts in a row.
- SK Wyverns have won at least one game of the past four series, in which SK has lost the previous two games against the Wiz.
Starting this game for the KT Wiz is set to be Odrisamer Despaigne. He is 2-3 on the season and has posted an ERA of 4.60. He has lost 3 starts in a row, allowing 18 runs in 15 innings in these starts. As for the Wyverns, Jong-hoon Park will get the start. He is 3-1 on the year with an ERA of 3.83. Park picked up a loss in his last start, allowing 4 runs on 4 hits in 6 innings. Still, he has been more consistent so far than Despaigne, and I believe he can have a good outing here against another team who have had plenty of struggles. That being said, I will take the SK Wyverns to win the last game of the series and add more value to our KBO three-team parlay.
