Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!

I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside my MLB record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite plays for Sunday.

Robert Williams (BOS) over 9.5 points (-116)

Line available at Fanduel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The Celtics’ big man has been exceptional on both ends of the court this season. He averages 10 points per game and will most likely receive Defensive Player of the Year’s votes. Today against the Dallas Mavericks we are targeting his points against an undersized Mavericks team.

If you like to sweat, this bet is for you. Williams is over this line in 13 of his last 14 games and has landed on 10 points in seven of them. In November, he scored 16 points against the Mavericks and Dwight Powell, but Boston was without Jaylen Brown. Knicks center Mitchell Robinson, who plays similar to Williams, scored 11 points against Powell in 24 minutes. Look for Williams to score most of his points off the pick-and-roll with Marcus Smart.

Darius Bazley (OKC) under 20.5 points + rebounds + assists (-120)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Darius Bazley has been an excellent piece for the young Oklahoma City Thunder. He gets overshadowed by fellow young players Shai Gilegous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, and Lu Dort. Even with Dort and Giddey inactive for today’s game against the Grizzlies, Bazley will likely struggle.

In eight games since the all-star break, Bazley is under this line in five of eight games and struggling to be the second option for OKC. He gets a tough matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies, who allow the third-fewest points to the power-forward position and 10th least rebounds in the league. Jaren Jackson Jr will most likely be drawn to Bazley all game, making it extremely difficult to score inside the paint. I expect Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to take off this game with his matchup against Ja Morant. Bazley averages 9.0 points per game and 6.0 rebounds when playing alongside Alexander.

Bazley is under this line in 67% of games this season, and I expect him to struggle in this one.
