Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!
I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside with my MLB record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Tuesday.
Caris Levert (Pacers) over 17.5 points (-120)

The Indiana Pacers are in a tough spot as a franchise. They are looking to transition into rebuild mode after their 13-18 start to the campaign. Big men Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis are unhappy and want to be moved. A bright spot for the Pacers has been shooting guard/small forward, Caris Levert. He is averaging over 16 points a game and shooting 44% from the field. Last game, he scored a season-high 31 points against Detroit but Indiana was without point guard Malcolm Brogdon.
Now, of course his numbers are significantly better without Brogdon, but this is still a great spot against the Heats defense without Butler and Adebayo. Levert scored 27 points against the Heat earlier this month in a game that featured the Pacers at full strength. Miami is known to be one of the best defenses in the league but they have susceptible to allowing big games to wings. They allow the 3rd-most points to shooting guards and fellow shooting guards/small forwards, Saddiq Bey and Hamidou Diallo scored a combined 41 points on Sunday.
We should see the 7-year veteran continue to be aggressive against a team he is very familiar with.
