Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!
I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside my MLB record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite plays for Thursday.
Kyrie Irving (Nets) over 26.5 points (-130)
Line available at Fanduel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
*Listed under Kyrie Irving-Alt Points*
Big news came out of Brooklyn today with James Harden getting traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. With no Harden or Durant, Irving is going to be a one man show tonight. I am expecting a game of at least 23 field goal attempts and Irving to showcase that he can carry this team past the abysmal Washington Wizards.
Both teams have made significant changes to their rosters and with a spread of -1.5 points, Kyrie Irving should see his routine 37+ minutes in games that he has played without James Harden.
Last time out against the Wizards, Kyrie scored 30 points and that was with Harden playing.

Jaren Jackson Jr. (Grizzlies) over 24.5 points + rebounds + assists (-125)
Line available at Caesars at time of publishing. Playable at 25.5 PRA
Jaren Jackson Jr. is on a tear right now before the all-star break. Jackson has recorded over 25 points, rebounds, and assists in 8 of his last 10 games and is a great sidekick to all-star starter Ja Morant.
Jackson has been a menace on the glass as of late. He averages 6 rebounds per game on the season, but in his last 5 games he is averaging over 8 per game with over 13 rebound chances.
From a scoring standpoint, Jackson has scored over 20 points in 6 of his last 10 games and is getting enough volume to cover this line with just points.
I do not expect Jackson to have troubles against an undersized Pistons frontcourt on the glass and will have his way against Jermai Grant or Isaiah Stewart. A blowout is obviously in question against the Pistons, but Jackson has gone over this line in his last two games and only played an average of 27 minutes.
