Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!
I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside my MLB record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Thursday.

Amir Coffey gets his opportunity to shine on national television tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers. The undrafted 3-year pro has been a key component for the Clippers in the absence of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. He is averaging over 19 points per game in his last 5 and is playing the most minutes out of any Clippers player. Coffey is shooting close to 40% from behind the three-point line and is a knockdown free-throw shooter at 89%.
The Lakers are allowing opponents to make 13 threes per game over their last 10 played and carry a 112 defensive rating.
I expect Coffey to continue to make his name known around the league and take advantage of the playing time he is getting.
