Week 8 of the NFL season threw up a few upsets, but Pickwise’s experts were on the money once again as our three-team ATS underdog parlay cashed for the second straight week! After nailing the dogs last week at +575, we continued to bark with Pittsburgh, New England, and Miami all winning against the spread to cash at +586. That was far from our only reason to celebrate.
We also went 4/4 on our NFL best bets, which takes our season record up to an excellent 17-7-1. As well as having both Pittsburgh and New England on that list as well, we also had Las Vegas +2.5 and Philadelphia -7.5 — both comfortable winners in the end.
Oh, and that’s not to mention that we had winners in 10 of 13 games against the spread, and went 9-4 on game totals.

How the action unfolded
We got Week 8 off to a great start as we nailed both the spread and total on Thursday Night Football between the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers. That was the fourth straight week we got off to a winning start and our streak is now at 8-0. With Green Bay set to take on San Francisco this week, make sure you check our site regularly as our expert bids to boost that streak to double digits.
The momentum carried through to the Sunday early games, as we won six of eight against the spread. Those included the Raiders, Dolphins, and Steelers — three underdogs who actually won outright.
After those matchups came to an end, we won three of the four late-afternoon games, and were robbed of a clean sweep as the Chargers blew their six-point lead and lost to the Broncos. However, we rebounded from that blow as the Eagles saw off the Cowboys comfortably on Sunday Night Football.
