The growth of lacrosse in the United States has been rapid in recent years, and the formation of the Premier Lacrosse League in 2019 certainly accelerated that. From the start, the league embraced sports betting and knew it would only help increase fan engagement with such a fast-paced exciting sport.
After most sportsbooks were understandably careful about posting a bunch of different betting options early on when the PLL launched, they now have multiple seasons of data to use as baselines and offer many markets for bettors in the U.S. to wager on.
Where can I bet on the Premier Lacrosse League? Sportsbooks offering PLL odds & lines
Just about all of the country’s biggest sportsbooks now have some offering of betting lines for the Premier Lacrosse League. In fact, DraftKings Sportsbook has PLL game lines and player props, along with both team and player-related futures. Game-specific odds focus on the spread, money line and total (also known as the “Over/Under”), while player props generally involve predictions for individual performance stats like points, goals or saves.
Other operators like BetMGM, Caesars and Bet365 provide odds for a number of markets, so it is always wise to shop around to find the best available line for the side you’d like to bet. And keep in mind that even if one sportsbook offers the best price for one wager that you have your eye on, they may have the worst available line for another bet. It all depends where they settle relative to one another for each side of every line and what’s available at the time you’re visiting.
What should I bet on for the 2022 Premier Lacrosse League season?
Since there are numerous PLL betting options now available across many sportsbooks, it may feel a bit overwhelming if you’re new to sports betting. One simple way to get started would be to place a money line wager on one team, which entails simply picking a team to win the game.
The favorite will have a minus sign next to its money line price (ex: -130), which indicates how much you’d have to wager to win $100. So in this case, a $130 bet would win $100, or (at the same proportion) a $13 wager would profit $10.
The underdog will be noted with the plus sign price, such as +120. That indicates how much a $100 bet would win/profit. So a $100 on the Waterdogs to win at +120 would win you $120 if they’re victorious. You’d get back your $100 stake, plus the $120 in winnings, so your initial $100 turns into $220.
