Chad Brown has won 6 of the last 9 runnings of the Grade 2 Flower Bowl Stakes and the master trainer can make that 7 in 10 with the high class filly, McKulick. This daughter of Frankel is a Grade 1 winner with form figures of 121 at this course and if she turns up in the same kind of form as last time when she beat War Like Goddess in the Glens Falls here, then she should be winning this.
2:52 pm Saratoga (Race 5) – Jersey Pearl 3/1 (2-star play)
A field of 5 3-year-old fillies are set to go to post for the Grade 2 Prioress Stakes in which the Brad Cox trained Dazzling Blue is likely to take plenty of beating but I like the filly drawn on the rail, Jersey Pearl. She is a forward-going type who will appreciate this drop in class from Grade 1 company, so if Irad Ortiz Jr. can get her out and into the lead early then they will be hard to catch.

The Harvey Pack Stakes is one for the older generation over an extended 5 furlongs on the turf track and one who can go well here is Dancing Buck, who is improving with age. He was a 5-length winner of the Belmont Turf Sprint Stakes when last seen and he should be ready to roll if recent workouts are anything to go by so a big run is expected.
6:18 pm Saratoga (Race 11) – Proxy 2/1 (2-star play)
The $1,000,000 Grade 1 Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes is a ‘win and you’re in’ race for the Breeders’ Cup Classic and the classy Proxy can take this for Michael Stidham and Godolphin. Joel Rosario’s mount is a Clark Stakes winner who comes into this off the back of an easy win in the Grade 3 Monmouth Cup, so he will take some stopping.
