Impressed when breaking his maiden by three-and-three-quarter-lengths having made most in a $20,000 maiden claiming contest over five-and-a-half-furlongs in February. Subsequently switched to turf when debuting for Doug O’Neill with a fifth-place finish having raced in second over the same trip here last month. Return to dirt is a positive here and dropping in grade he is taken to double his career tally with the extra half-furlong here no issue having run well over further in the past.

The son of Nyquist showed ability on dirt including when third in his debut for Tim Yakteen in a six-and-a-half-furlong event here in October. Switch to turf has brought about an improvement in form, however, following up a wide margin maiden win with a one-and-a-quarter-length victory in the Baffle Stakes over six-and-a-half-furlongs here early last month. Shapes as if this step up in distance will suit and with Umberto Rispoli up is taken to deliver a third consecutive victory.

Lightly-raced for one his age but has shown good form in 3 starts since a gelding operation at the start of last year. Completed a double when making a winning seasonal debut in scoring by a nose in the Grade 3 Thunder Road Stakes over this course and distance just under 2 months ago. Advertised his well-being with a string of works in recent weeks including a 1:14.20 for 6 furlongs here on Monday. Looks up to completing a hat-trick.
