There is plenty of great horse racing across America on Thursday, including at Aqueduct race track. These races were supposed to take place at Belmont Park, but due to construction they have been moved to Aqueduct We have been on fire with our picks for a long time now and we are up +283.64 units with our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021. Let’s keep it rolling!
Here are our best bets for today’s action at Aqueduct race track.
3:16 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 6) – Blinding Light 8/1 (1-star play)
Race 6 at Belmont At The Big A is a $65,000 Starter Allowance over six furlongs on the turf in which a strong case can be made for Blinding Light who remains unexposed and finished fourth in a similar contest last time out at Saratoga. He was a comfortable winner when breaking his maiden tag in Maiden Claiming company at the same course back in July and represents value with this step up to 6 furlongs expected to suit.
3:50 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 7) – Marinara Sauced 7/2 (2-star play)
There’s some talented colts and geldings going to post for this Allowance over an extended mile on the turf with the likes of Citizen K and Battle Scars both having good chances of winning but so does the Chad Brown trained Marinara Sauced who is drawn wide in stall twelve but has an outstanding chance. Form figures of 32 in stakes races this year certainly bode well coming into this and I doubt we have seen the best of this gelding yet.
4:22 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 8) – Secret Love 9/2 (1-star play)
The penultimate event at Belmont At The Big A is one for the female division and this features some very promising types over an extended six furlongs on the dirt and the filly I like here is a daughter of the top sire Not This Time and that is Secret Love. She’s a winner in this grade, which came at this course and has been knocking on the door in recent starts so if John Velazquez can get a good spot in behind the leaders from the gates, then this should set up nicely for them.
4:54 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 9) – Ableton 8/1 (1-star play)
A field of sixteen are set to line up for the finale which is a hotly contested Maiden Claimer on the turf and this is an open race so it can pay to look for some value and in Ableton we have an improving gelding who looks ready to win. John Kimmel’s 3-year-old has finished third on his last 2 starts in this company whilst recording improved speed figures and he will be staying on late in the piece so could easily hit the board at a good price for connections.
