A winner at Canterbury Park at the end of August Louis Linder’s charge has demonstrated good form in three starts since making the switch to this track in the fall. Delivering two on the board finishes in three starts since the switch the most recent of those came when finishing two-and-three-quarter-lengths second in a five-and-one-half-furlong $12,500 claimer early last month. Tackles a similar contest here and can provide the tracks top jockey Ruben Silvera with a victory.
1:58 pm Parx (Race 5) – Social Group 8/5
Ruben Silvera looks to hold strong claims of victory with his mount in the fifth coming into this race on the back of a second place finish over this course and distance last month. Michael Pino’s representative was beaten a length-and-a-quarter by a strong finishing rival that day and looks up to going one better having clocked an impressive 48:06 four furlong work when the fastest of 50 over the distance at the end of last month.
2:52 pm Parx (Race 7) – Bouncing Around 3/1
The tracks top trainer last year Jamie Ness has made an impressive start to the year with five winners from 12 runners here to date. His representative here was never involved when seventh in a Penn National allowance last month. Placed third in a stronger race than this over a mile here prior to that however and returning to this venue he can deliver a victory with this step up in distance looking likely to suit the son of Suances.
