There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Monday, including at Parx race track. We have been in fine form with our picks for a long time, up 266.65 units dating back to August 5. We picked 3 winners in 4 races on Sunday, good for a profit of 15.2 units.

Here are 3 runners we expect to perform well today. It’s time to dive in and discuss these potentially profitable plays.

2:40 pm Parx (Race 6) – Systemic Risk 4/1

Racing mainly at Woodbine in her career thus far, a change of scenery could work the oracle as she makes her debut for Ernesto Padilla-Preciado. She was in good form when last seen in November, finishing second in a pair of claiming races at Woodbine from her last three starts. She hasn’t won since 2019, but there would be a strong case to be made that this is the weakest race she’s faced in a while, and she has a good draw in gate three for a potential pace angle. Luis Rivera is a very interesting jockey booking and she’s a fascinating contender at this level.

3:34 pm Parx (Race 8) – Eighty Eight Keys 8/1

There isn’t a strong standard of form in this contest and at a bigger price, Alan Bedard’s filly appeals. She made a fairly promising debut at Parx in December, targeted at the Parx Futurity two weeks later. Finishing fifth, she wasn’t disgraced, and back down in grade last time, she ran better than the bare result. She now runs on Lasix for the first time and she’s drawn on the inside, which will help her save all the ground. Ultimately, she wouldn’t need to improve much to play a leading role in this.

4:28 pm Parx (Race 10) – Flat Out Flying 3/1

Winning on four of his last six starts, Cathal Lynch’s gelding has been in flying form of late. He gained his most recent victory over track and distance in November, quickening away easily in a $28,000 starter allowance race. He ran to a similar figure when fourth in a $45,000 allowance race last month and he’s back down in grade today. Drawn well in gate two and ridden by Jaime Rodriguez, he has excellent claims of registering another victory.
