The son of Harry Angel showed good form in Europe, including when fourth in the Group 2 July Stakes over 6 furlongs at Newmarket last July. The pick has shown good form in 2 starts for the Saffie Joseph barn including when three-and-a-half-lengths second over a mile-and-one-sixteenth here last month. The drop in trip here should pose no issues and he is taken to deliver a victory with Leonel Reyes, on board last time out booked to ride.

Shug McGaughey’s 5-year-old has shown strong form at a higher level in the past, including when winning the Grade 3 Pimlico Special over a mile-and-three-sixteenths at Pimlico in May last year. The selection has made just the 3 starts since then including when third in the Grade 1 Jockey Club Gold Cup at Saratoga on his penultimate start. The Curlin entire makes his seasonal debut here and is taken to deliver a first up victory under Luis Saez.

Performed well in stakes company as a 3-year-old in 2022 including when winning by half-a-length in the Grade 3 Swale Stakes over 7 furlongs here. Finished on the board in 2 of his 3 subsequent starts for top handler Todd Pletcher. While the pick hasn’t raced since a fifth in the Grade 2 Amsterdam at Saratoga at the end of July he has delivered a string of solid works of late and looks capable of scoring here.

A winner of 2 of her 3 previous starts, the American Pharoah filly delivered an impressive three-and-a-quarter-length victory in a mile-and-one-sixteenth allowance optional claimer here at the end of December. The 4-year-old acquitted herself well stepped up to Grade 3 stakes company when a length third in the Grade 3 Endeavour over the same trip at Tampa Bay Downs in early February. Remains open to improvement and can deliver a first stakes success with Irad Ortiz back in the saddle.

A winner in 5 of his 6 previous starts, this son of Violence has won 3 Grade 1s and a Grade 2 since suffering a defeat in the Grade 3 Sanford Stakes over 6 furlongs at Saratoga last July. The 3-year-old drew four-and-a-half-lengths clear of his rivals when taking the Grade 2 Fountain Of Youth Stakes over a mile-and-one-sixteenth here just under a month ago. The selections looks up to providing Todd Pletcher with a seventh win in this race.
