Horse Racing picks for Turf Paradise race track on Tuesday, February 15: Take a gamble on Indian Gambler

2:55 pm Turf Paradise (Race 1) – Mine Me 5/2

Has performed well in two starts since delivering an impressive four-and-a-quarter-length victory in an allowance optional claimer over six furlongs at this venue back in December. Most recent of those two efforts resulted in a two length defeat in finishing runner-up over the same trip at this venue last month. The extra half-furlong here shouldn’t provide any issues and having drawn the rail the daughter of Mineshaft can provide handler Justin R Evans with a victory in the opener.

5:27 pm Turf Paradise (Race 6) – Indian Gambler 4/1

Jose Luna Silva’s charge has been in good form since returning to this track scoring by a head having made all the running in a bottom level claiming contest over four-and-one-half-furlongs at this venue last month. Subsequently delivered a solid effort in finishing a neck second having employed similar tactics over five furlongs in this grade later that month and the four-year-old looks up to scoring here with the return to four-and-one-half-furlongs no issue for Ajhari Williams’ mount.

6:28 pm Turf Paradise (Race 8) – O Shugah Mint 4/1

Has shown improvement with racing including when registering her first on the board finish in claiming second spot when beaten one-and-a-quarter-lengths having raced in third in a six-and-one-half-furlong $7,500 maiden claiming race here last month. Tackles a stronger event here with Jose Zunino up but remains open to improvement and she looks capable of breaking her maiden for trainer Timothy Gleason who has his horses in good form with the handlers only runner on the card yesterday a winner.
