3:21 pm ET Saratoga (Race 5) – Fearless 4/5 (3-star play)
Fearless has proven at a higher level having registered a number of victories in Graded company including when winning by six lengths in the mile-and-one-eighth Grade 3 Ghostzapper Stakes at Gulfstream Park at the start of April. Runner-up at Oaklawn Park subsequently, but resume winning ways upped to a mile-and-a-half when taking out the Grade 2 Brooklyn Stakes.
The six-year-old had his rival here Lone Rock back in third in the Brooklyn and looks up to confirming that form upped in distance.
5:05 pm ET Saratoga (Race 8) – Price Discipline 4/5 (3-star play)
Price Discipline debuted with an impressive four-and-a-quarter-length victory in a mile maiden special weight at Belmont Park at the end of May. He raced from off the pace that day, but was ridden closer to the speed when beaten a head into second in a mile-and-one-sixteenth allowance contest at the same venue just under a month ago.
An extra sixteenth here should prove no issue and he looks up to helping trainer Chad Brown improve on his 23% strike-rate (9/39) at this meeting.
5:39 pm ET Saratoga (Race 9) – Balthus 2/1 (2-star play)
He broke his maiden at the fourth time of asking when drawing six lengths clear of his rivals in the straight to take a mile-and-a quarter maiden special weight event on a good turf track at Belmont Park in May. He also completed a double upped an eighth in distance on a firm turf course in an allowance at the same venue at the end of last month. Balthus remains open to improvement and the expensive yearling purchase is selected to complete a hat-trick.
