1:39 pm ET Saratoga (Race 2) – Endowed 2/1 (2-star play)
Endowed debuted with an impressive win in a $40,000 maiden claiming contest over a mile at Belmont Park in early June and while he lost his unbeaten record when runner-up over a 16th further in a starter event at the same venue at the start of last month, he showed solid form that day.
He could finish only 4th when ridden from behind the early pace at Saratoga subsequently and looks up to recording a second victory with improvement likely.
3:21 pm ET Saratoga (Race 5) – Microphone 2/1 (2-star play)
Microphone has made just 4 starts to date, with a 4-length victory in a mile maiden special weight at Tampa Bay Downs the only victory. Has finished on the board on 2 of his 3 subsequent starts however, including when beaten 2 1/2 lengths into 3rd over 7 furlongs at Belmont Park in June.
Given a break since then, the son of Siyouni looks up to doubling his career tally with Jose Ortiz booked to ride for trainer Chad Brown.
5:39 pm ET Saratoga (Race 9) – Ce Ce 2/1 (2-star play)
Ce Ce has demonstrated good form since suffering a defeat when 3rd in this race 12 months ago, with the highlight of 4 subsequent victories being a 2 1/2 length triumph in the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint over seven furlongs at Del Mar in November.
She impressed when drawing 6 1/2 lengths clear of her rivals in the Grade 2 Princess Royal Invitational Stakes over this trip at Gulfstream Park and is selected to provide trainer Mike McCarthy with a winner.
