There is plenty of great horse racing across America on Saturday, including at Saratoga race track. We have been in form with our picks for a long time and had big winners at 12/1 and 7/2 at Saratoga on Friday, taking our profit to +298 units with our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021. Let’s keep it rolling!
Here are our best bets for today’s action at Saratoga.
1:17 pm ET Saratoga (Race 4) – Technical Analysis Evs (3-star play)
Technical Analysis has not finished outside the first 2 in 6 starts since running 6th in a Grade 3 contest over a mile and 1/8th at Belmont Park in June last year. That run includes two 2nd-place finishes in Grade 1 company, including when she was beaten 1 1/2 lengths in the Diana Stakes over the same trip at Saratoga last month.
The slightly shorter trip today is no issue and the 4-year-old looks capable of scoring having taken Pimlico’s Grade 3 Gallorette Stakes on her penultimate start.
1:55 pm ET Saratoga (Race 5) – Jackie’s Warrior 1/2 (3-star play)
Jackie’s Warrior completed a 4-timer when delivering a 2-length victory in the Grade 1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap over 6 furlongs at this venue last month. The extra distance is no issue today having taken out a Grade 1 at Churchill Downs over this trip in May.
Defending an unbeaten 5-from-5 record at this venue, the Steve Asmussen-trained colt is taken to cement his place at the top of the sprinting division with a 13th career win.
3:52 pm ET Saratoga (Race 8) – Jack Christopher 6/5 (2-star play)
Jack Christopher won his first 4 starts, including the Grade 1 Woody Stephens Stakes over 7 furlongs at Belmont Park when making his seasonal debut in May.
He lost his unbeaten record when moving up to a mile and 1/8th for the first time and placing 3rd in the Grade 1 Haskell Stakes at Monmouth Park last month. The drop in trip today is in his favour and he can resume winning ways under regular jockey Jose Ortiz.
5:05 pm ET Saratoga (Race 10) – Adhamo 7/2 (2-star play)
Adhamo showed good form in Europe last year and built on 3 on-the-board finishes since joining the Chad Brown barn when winning by 1 1/2 lengths in the Grade 1 United Nations over 11 furlongs at Monmouth Park last month.
He had previously placed 2nd to Tribhuvan, who reopposes today, in the Grade 1 Manhattan at Belmont Park in June but having reversed that form last time out the son of Intello looks up to recording a 6th career win.
5:44 pm ET Saratoga (Race 11) – Epicenter 7/5 (2-star play)
Epicenter has demonstrated good form so far this year, winning 3 times from 5 starts in Graded stakes races including when successful by 1 1/2 lengths in the Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes over 9 furlongs at Saratoga at the end of last month.
He was 2nd in 2 of the Triple Crown races prior to that and looks capable of registering a first Grade 1 victory with regular pilot Joel Rosario booked to ride the Not This Time colt following a 50.03 four furlong work.
