4:30 pm Santa Anita (Race 4) – Who’s Candy 6/5 (2-star play)
Placed second on two of his four starts since winning impressively in a course and distance maiden special weight 12 months ago. Those efforts including three since a gelding operation including when beaten a neck over this track and trip in a $50,000 starter optional claiming event on his penultimate start. Ridden from second when runner-up over five furlongs at Del Mar subsequently he looks up to making all the running under Ricardo Gonzalez having drawn the rail.
5:00 pm Santa Anita (Race 7) – Established 2/1 (2-star play)
Delivered a two-and-a-quarter-length second in a six furlong $20,000 waiver claiming contest at Del Mar in September on his final start for previous handler Jonathan Wong. Raced close to the pace prior to fading late on when third over six-and-a-half-furlongs in a $20,000 claimer at this track on debut for current connections the following month. The Constitution gelding sets the standard on form and is taken to return from a break to register the sixth win of his career.
