2:14 pm ET Parx (Race 4) – Sal N Louie 9/5 (2-star play)
The five-year-old has been performing at a higher level than he tackles here including when runner-up in a $16,000 starter optional claiming contest over a mile-and-seventy-yards at Penn National on his penultimate start. The son of Flashback failed to shine switched to turf when finishing a well held sixth in a $30,000 claimer at Monmouth Park subsequently but dropping in grade and return to the main track he looks capable of registering his first win at this venue.
3:22 pm ET Parx (Race 7) – Kiss Me Hardy 2/1 (2-star play)
Trained by John Servis the filly has shown good form in her six starts to date finishing on the board on four occasions. The most recent of those saw her finish seven-and-a-quarter-lengths second in a mile maiden special weight at Monmouth Park in July. The Lord Nelson filly has been given a break since and coming here on the back of a four furlong breeze at Monmouth Park she looks up to breaking her maiden under Frankie Pennington.
3:49 pm ET Parx (Race 8) – Masrour 2/1 (8-star play)
The son of Tamarkuz has been in great form since returning this campaign following up a wide margin victory in a $7,500 claiming contest over six furlongs here in early July with two wins in starter company over this course and distance. The four-year-old raced from the front prior to putting four-and-a-half-lengths between himself and his six rivals last time out and he is taken to continue his good run of form with a victory in this event.
