Has run well over this trip in the past and looks up to putting a below par fourth here subsequently behind him to score.
2:10 pm Parx (Race 6) – Muchacho Macho 2/5 (2-star play)
Appeared to need the run when down the field in a $6,250 claiming contest over six furlongs on a muddy track at Delaware Park when racing first up this spell but has shown improved form in two subsequent starts including when winning by a length in a mile contest at this level at Laurel earlier this month. Represents the top trainer at this track Jamie Ness and the four-year-old is taken to register a first victory at this venue.
3:31 pm Parx (Race 7) – Visual Artist 3/1 (2-star play)
Demonstrated good form when runner-up twice in allowance optional claiming contests on sloppy tracks at Delaware Park and at this venue last month. Followed those two up with a good one-and-a-half-length fourth having led in the straight in a similar contest over a mile-and-seventy-yards here just over three weeks ago. Top jockey Ruben Silvera retains the ride and the five-year-old is selected to help trainer Jamie Ness improve on his impressive 29% strike-rate (153/525) at this meeting.
