1:07 pm ET Parx (Race 2) – Afraidofthebunny 2/1 (2-star play)
The Distorted Humor gelding showed good form when 3 1/4 lengths 2nd in a $16,000 claimer over 6 furlongs on a muddy track at Oaklawn Park 3 starts back. He joined his current trainer Jamie Ness following a 6-length 6th in a $20,000 claiming event over the same course and distance last month.
He has a top jockey up in Ruben Silvera and with the slight drop in trip likely to be no issue he looks capable of doubling his career tally in his Parx debut.
3:53 pm ET Parx (Race 8) – Miss Dillingham 2/1 (2-star play)
Miss Dillingham registered a 2 1/2 length victory when making all the running in a starter optional claiming contest over a mile at Laurel at the end of January. The daughter of Jump Start has finished on the board in both subsequent starts, including when losing out by a head when runner-up over a mile in a starter event at Parx early last month.
She has a top jockey and trainer combination and is selected to record her 9th win in 22 starts at this track.
4:20 pm ET Parx (Race 9) – Dreaming Of Gerry 7/2 (2-star play)
The 5-year-old Dreaming Of Gerry completed a double when following up a wide-margin win in a $25,000 starter event over a mile at Parx in February with a 2 1/4 length triumph in an allowance optional claiming event over a mile and 1/16th the following month.
The son of Liam’s Map lost out by half a length when a short-priced favourite at Parx just under a month ago when he was last in action. He sets the standard today, however, and looks capable of providing jockey Silvestre Gonzalez with a win.
