Coletti Jr’s gelding has had fewer chances than most in here and performed well when three-and-a-half-lengths second in a $25,000 maiden claiming contest over six-and-a-half-furlongs here in April. Registered a fair effort when fifth having raced wide on the final turn when upped to this distance in a $40,000 maiden claiming event subsequently. Gets a drop in grade here and looks capable of getting off the mark with Anthony Y. Nunez booked to ride.
2:01 pm Parx (Race 4) – Occasional Moon 5/2 (2-star play)
The 3-year-old has had just 2 starts since joining current connections having been claimed out of a $30,000 maiden claimer at Laurel at the end of March. The first of those saw the son of Malibu Moon suffer a nose defeat when runner-up in a $45,000 maiden claimer over a mile at the same venue early last month. A third on turf at Pimlico followed and he is taken to break his maiden on his first outing at this venue.

The daughter of Speightster showed plenty of ability in finishing runner-up in her first 2 outings. Both of those efforts came when in the car of Michael J. Maker, including when beaten three-and-three-quarter-lengths in a 6-furlong $75,000 maiden claiming event at Churchill Downs in July of last year. Made her first start since and debut for the Jamie Ness barn when making all to score by four-and-three-quarter-lengths over five-and-a-half-furlongs at Delaware last month. Looks capable of completing a double.
