Placed third in a seven furlong starter event at Churchill Downs just over a month ago prior to finishing a disappointing last of nine in a six furlong $30,000 claiming contest at Turfway Park eleven days ago. Return to a dirt track here is a positive as is the significant drop in grade and the son of Into Mischief is taken to register a victory having won in $20,000 claiming company at Churchill Downs as recently as July.
3:05 pm ET Parx (Race 8) – Repo Rocks 9/2 (1-star play)
Showed ability in Graded company for his previous trainer earlier this year including when weakening late on in the Grade 3 Runhappy Stakes over six furlongs at Belmont Park in May. Made the perfect start to his career with Jamie Ness when winning by a neck in the Let’s Give Thanks Stakes over six-and-a-half-furlongs here last month and he is taken to confirm form with Twisted Ride and Beren who finished second and third that day.
3:33 pm ET Parx (Race 9) – My Kentucky Girl 7/2 (2-star play)
Registered her first victory since breaking her maiden at Santa Anita on debut when drawing five lengths clear of her rivals in a seven furlong allowance at Keeneland at the end of October. Caught the eye when finishing strongly to finish one-and-three-quarter-lengths second in a minor stakes contest at Mahoning Valley on her only subsequent start and with the return to seven furlongs in her favour she is selected to register a first victory in stakes company.
