Acquitted himself well in 2 subsequent starts, including when runner-up in a similar race to this here on his sole start for Faith Wilson last month. Now back with Englehart the son of Alpha looks up to returning to the winners’ enclosure with Ruben Silvera booked to ride.
2:37 pm Parx (Race 7) – Cumulus 9/5 (2-star play)
Slight issue at the start when making his debut in a six-and-a-half-furlong maiden special weight here last month. Raced from off the pace when beaten six-and-three-quarter-lengths on that occasion but is expected to have improved for the experience. Gets a drop in grade to $25,000 maiden claiming company here and having delivered a promising 49.82 4-furlong work at this track earlier this month he looks up to breaking his maiden at the second attempt for handler Guadalupe Preciado.

Purchased for $300,000 as a yearling at the Keeneland September Sale last year, the daughter of Quality Road showed plenty of ability on debut when finishing 2 lengths third in a 6-furlong maiden special weight at Laurel last month. Changed trainer since that effort but delivered a solid 50.63 4-furlong work here over the weekend and is selected to get off the mark at the second time of asking with Jevian Toledo up for the first time.
