Golden Eib Micrphn looks like she could use a few more letters in her name, but she got off the mark at the first attempt when impressively winning over 5 furlongs at Delaware Park back in August of last year, and has acquitted herself well in 3 starts since.
A well-held 3rd in a $25,000 starter optional claimer at Parx on her penultimate start, she was a 6 1/2 length 3rd in a small field over 6 furlongs at Penn National last month. Reunited with jockey Jamie Rodriguez today, this Keen Ice filly looks capable of doubling her career tally.
4:04 pm Parx (Race 8) – Hollywood Jet 2/5 (3-star play)
Hollywood Jet looks capable of overcoming a wide draw, as he did when racing from the #9 gate in winning a minor stakes contest over 6 furlongs at Parx on his penultimate start. He followed up with an all-the-way victory in a $12,500 starter optional claiming contest over 6 1/2 furlongs on a sloppy track early last month.
Regular pilot Luis M Ocasio is booked to ride and the son of Uncaptured looks capable of registering his 7th consecutive victory.
4:58 pm Parx (Race 10) – Jebologist 7/2 (2-star play)
Jebologist placed 2nd in a couple of $16,000 claiming races at Laurel, including when beaten 3 lengths on a good main track at that venue last month.
Switching to this track appeared to suit him when he made all to win by 4 lengths in a $16,000 starter optional claiming event over 7 furlongs earlier this month. The son of Gemologist is taken to complete a double as he drops back in distance for the track’s top handler Jamie Ness.
