1:07 pm ET Parx (Race 2) – Enraged 8/5 (2-star play)
The five-year-old has been in good form since joining the Michael L Catalano Jr stable finishing on the board in all five outings. Those efforts include a nose victory in a $10,000 claiming race over this course and distance in August last year. The son of Big Blue Kitten has delivered second place finishes in both starts this time and looks capable of going one better than when a nose second over shorter in a higher grade here last month.
3:53 pm ET Parx (Race 8) – Sophos 3/1 (2-star play)
The pick has won each of his last two starts including when successful by half-a-length when debuting for handler Hugo O Padilla in a seven furlong claiming event at this level earlier this month. The five-year-old had previously ended his 2022 campaign with a nose triumph in a $10,000 claiming contest over the same track and trip. The slight drop in trip here should prove no issue and he is taken to deliver a seventh career win.
4:20 pm ET Parx (Race 9) – Peachy Weachy 9/5 (2-star play)
The daughter of Analyze made her sole start for the Alfredo Velazquez barn a winning one when successful by two-and-a-half-lengths in a six-and-a-half-furlong $25,000 claiming event here last month. The filly was making her first start at this venue that day and was claimed by current connections following that triumph. Mychel J Sanchez is a positive jockey booking and she is taken to score following a 47.85 four furlong breeze here at the end of last month.
