Impressed when delivering a 4-length victory having led by 8 lengths at one stage in a $12,500 claiming contest over six-and-a-half-furlongs here in February. Joined the Carlos Soto stable for one start when one-and-a-quarter-lengths fourth over five-and-a-half-furlongs here the following month. Works since joining her current stable are nothing to write home about. However, she gets a drop in grade here and is expected to prove hard to beat stepping back up to 6 furlongs.
2:59 pm Parx (Race 5) – Assume Nothing 2/1 (2-star play)
Failed to shine when debuting in a turf contest at Gulfstream Park in January but appears to have improved for a gelding operation and a switch to the main track breaking his maiden at the third attempt when scoring by half-a-length over five-and-a-half-furlongs at Laurel in March. Placed second in a 7-furlong allowance optional claimer on his only subsequent start and is taken to return to winning ways on his first attempt at this distance.
3:26 pm Parx (Race 7) – R Tenderoni 9/5 (2-star play)
Demonstrated good form since joining the Jamie Ness barn in December, winning once and finishing on the board in her three appearances. Those on the board efforts include a five-and-a-half-length third in a $15,000 claiming contest over an extended mile at this venue just over a month ago. The 5-year-old has a top jockey in Ruben Silvera up once more and looks capable of helping trainer Jamie Ness improve on his 21% strike rate (60 of 280) at this meeting.
