She subsequently joined current handler Kathleen A Demasi but proved a disappointment on her stable debut when 8th of 9 in a starter optional claimer over the same track and trip the following month.
Given a break since, the daughter of Tale Of Ekati returns to $12,5000 claiming company today and looks capable of returning to winning ways under Silvestre Gonzalez.
1:43 pm ET Parx (Race 5) – Pensamiento 8/5 (2-star play)
Successful at Penn National in an $8,000 claiming contest in August, Pensamiento subsequently delivered good efforts in 2 of his 3 starts in $16,000 starter optional claimers there for his previous handler.
He recorded a fair 5-length 7th when contesting a 7-furlong allowance at Parx when debuting for Daniel Velazquez earlier this month. The drop back to 6 1/2 furlongs is in his favor and the 5-year-old is selected to record the 3rd victory of his career.
3:10 pm ET Parx (Race 8) – Harley’s Charly 6/5 (2-star play)
Edward J Coleti Jr’s charge has shown good form, finishing on the board in all 4 starts in maiden special weight contests since debuting with a well beaten 5th at Parx last August. The son of Uptowncharlybrown came home 2 1/2 lengths 2nd when ridden with restraint early in a 6-furlong event there earlier this month.
He tried to make all when a neck 2nd previously, and having drawn the rail he is taken to register his first victory at the 6th attempt.
