Horse Racing picks for Parx race track on Tuesday, February 22: Not a cellar Dweller

12:25 pm Parx (Race 1) – Dweller 9/5

Delivered a solid second place finish when making her debut in a maiden claimer over six furlong sat Penn National back in December. Raced close to the speed and led into the straight prior to being overhauled late on that day. Delivered an improved effort when employing similar tactics to score by five-and-a-quarter-lengths over the same track and trip at the start of this month. Looks up to delivering another winning effort switched to a starter optional claimer.

12:52 pm Parx (Race 2) – Centerfold Angel 9/5

Robert Mosco’s charge had delivered a string of on the board finishes including when runner-up in a starter allowance three starts back prior to a disappointing last of six in a $12,500 claimer over a mile-and-one-sixteenth here early last month. Looked to find the step up to a mile-and-one-sixteenth against her that day and with the drop in trip and grade both positives here the daughter of Snapy Halo is taken to register a fourth career success.

3:34 pm Parx (Race 8) – Justhappy 9/5

Finished on the board on each of his last five starts including when beaten two-and-a-half-lengths when third in a mile waiver maiden claiming at Laurel at the start of this month. Has shown a liking for this venue in the past placed second in a couple of maiden special weight races late last year and the daughter of Runhappy looks capable of getting off the mark at the eighth time of asking for the powerful Ruben Silvera/Jamie Ness combination.
