He performed well in two starts since joining the Jamie Ness barn placing third when beaten three lengths on his first start at this venue in a six-and-a-half-furlong allowance optional claiming contest on a sloppy main track prior to a three-and-a-half-length victory in a similar contest over this trip subsequently. He delivered an impressive 48.61 four furlong work here on 29th November and having drawn the rail here the son of Shackleford looks up to following up under Frankie Pennington.
3:58 pm ET Parx (Race 10) – Jacochare 3/2 (2-star play)
He registered his sixth career win and a fourth in 19 starts at this venue when puttng eight-and-three-quarter-lengths between himself and his rivals in an $8,000 starter optional claimer over this course and distance on his penultimate start. Subsequently lost out by half-a-length in an allowance optional claiming contest over the same distance and the Midshipman gelding looks capable of returning to winning ways to provide trainer Carlos J Millian and jockey with a winner in the penultimate contest.
