1:34 pm Parx (Race 3) – Late Call 5/2 (2-star play)
The son of Dialed In showed ability in each of his six starts including when finishing third in maiden special weight contests on his first two outings. The four-year-old dropped in grade last time out delivering a first victory when coming home five lengths clear of his rivals in a $12,500 maiden claiming contest over a mile-and-seventy-yards at Gulfstream Park in January. Advertised his wellbeing with a string of good works since and looks up to completing a double.
2:01 pm Parx (Race 4) – My Train 5/1 (1-star play)
The veteran performer showed he is still a force to be reckoned with when scoring by five-and-three-quarter-lengths in a $7,500 claiming event here in February on his penultimate start. Made all the running there but was unable to dominate when a well beaten seventh in a $10,000 claimer over the same track and trip earlier this month. This looks an easier race and with his main pace rival drawn widest of all is selected to make all under Ruben Silvera.
4:20 pm Parx (Race 9) – Flashing Diamond 5/2 (2-star play)
The eight-year-old is the winner of nine of her 27 starts at this venue including by five-and-a-half-lengths in a $10,000 starter event over six furlongs on a sloppy track here at the start of January. Delivered second place finishes in each of her last two starts including when beaten five lengths over six-and-a-half-furlongs here earlier this month. The wide draw is a slight concern but she looks up to registering a 20th career success with regular pilot Frankie Pennington up.
