There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Monday, including at Parx race track. We are in fine form with our picks, having nailed 79 winners in our last 190 races dating back to early August while profiting 109.15 units during this stretch. Here are 3 runners whom we think look to be a class above the opposition in their respective races on Monday. It’s time to dive in and take a look at some potentially lucrative plays.

2:16 pm Parx (Race 4) – Our Uptown Girl 2/1

A daughter of Uptowncharlybrown, she had shown plenty of promise in the mornings prior to her five-furlong debut at Parx last month. She finished a game second, pursuing the winner throughout and pulling thirteen lengths clear of the rest of the field. This extra half a furlong will help matters and natural improvement should see her posting an improved performance here. If she does just that, she’ll prove difficult to beat under Anthony Nunez.

3:37 pm Parx (Race 7) – Secondary Market 2/1

A daughter of Into Mischief, she’s just the second runner at Parx in 2021 for Chad Brown. She’s won two of her seven starts thus far, including a $74,000 allowance contest at Saratoga. Her subsequent starts have come in some tough company, including a pair of Grade 2 tilts. Given that it was her first run since November 2020, she shaped with promise on return at Saratoga in July. With race fitness on her side, she should be a different proposition today, especially in these calmer waters at Parx.

4:40 pm Parx (Race 8) – My Boy Tate 2/1

Michelle Nevin’s seven-year-old is a classy performer, winning both the Hollie Hughes and Haynesfield Stakes at Aqueduct earlier this year. He disappointed on his next start at Parx, but two subsequent runs back at stakes level have seen him return to his best. Finding just one too strong in the Listed Tale of the Cat at Saratoga last time, that sort of form makes him comfortably the one to beat. He’s drawn widest of all, which isn’t ideal, but he’s the class act and should prove tough to beat.
