There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Monday, including at Parx race track. We are still absolutely on fire with our plays, having picked 90 winners in our last 216 races while profiting 121.95 units dating back to Aug. 5. Here are 3 runners whom we think look to be a class above the opposition in their respective races on Monday. It’s time to dive in and take a look at some potentially lucrative plays.

2:43 pm Parx (Race 5) – Other Things Equal 5/2

Jamie Ness’s son of Hard Spun made the perfect switch to Parx on his most recent start, winning in this grade by a nose. That was a game effort, beating today’s rival Missionatthespa with a strong late surge. A deep closer, drawing gate one perhaps isn’t as much of a positive as it could have been, but it’ll enable Frankie Pennington to save all the ground. He’ll aim to switch out this five-year-old in the stretch, where he can take off late to make it two wins from two in Pennsylvania.

3:37 pm Parx (Race 7) – Brazen 5/2

A lightly-raced four-year-old, he bids for a hat-trick after a pair of impressive Parx claiming victories. Kicking clear by five lengths in a $20,000 event two starts ago, he once again made the running when edging away late in a $28,000 claimer last time. He’s clearly in excellent heart and Jorge Vargas Jr should have no problems making the lead from a middling draw. He remains unexposed after just eight starts and further improvement should be forthcoming.

4:58 pm Parx (Race 10) – Shane’s Jewel 8/5

A three-time Parx winner, he gained the latter of those successes in dominant fashion, landing a $48,000 Allowance race four starts ago. He’s subsequently shipped to Delaware, where he acquitted himself well, including an ambitious tilt at a stakes contest. A return to Parx is in his favour and this is a much more manageable level for him. Drawn in the box seat on the inside rail, he can cut the corner and make all the running under Ruben Silvera.
