1:22 pm Parx (Race 2) – Dangnabbit 8/5 (2-star play)
An impressive maiden winner over an extended mile here back in November the selection was eased when failing to finish on a good main track in January on his first start since a gelding operation. Gets a significant drop in grade here following a seven-and-three-quarter-length fifth over an extended mile in a $12,500 claiming event and that combined with the drop to seven furlongs can see the son of Imagining double his career tally for trainer Robert E Reid Jr.
2:16 pm Parx (Race 4) – Fast Intentions 2/1 (2-star play)
Registered a solid three length third in a $10,000 claiming event over an extended six furlongs here in March. Below that form when fading tamely in finishing last of eight upped in trip here subsequently. The daughter of Fast Anna gets a fair drop in grade here and with six of her previous eight wins coming over this distance she is taken to make her first start for new trainer Jamie Ness a winning one with Jerion Barbosa up.
3:37 pm Parx (Race 7) – Breezy Gust 9/5 (2-star play)
Sent off odds-on to complete an allowance optional claiming race double here when beaten three lengths into second in a extended six furlong contest back in February. Subsequently tackled stakes company over the same track and trip finishing last of nine. Drops markedly in grade for this contest and having placed in stakes company as recently as April last year the five-year-old looks up to helping trainer Daniel Velazquez improve on his 11% strike-rate (6/55) at this meeting.
