1:07 pm ET Parx (Race 2) – Vikram 5/2 (2-star play)
Raced close to the speed when winning by three-quarters-of-a-length in a $10,000 claiming contest over seven furlongs here at the end of January. Unable to hold a position when failing to shine at a mile when upped to $15,000 claiming company next time out and was never involved when trailing home last of nine over six furlongs when racing at the same level earlier this month. Should find this level easier however and can return to winning ways.
2:01 pm ET Parx (Race 4) – Seahorse d’Oro 5/2 (2-star play)
Registered on the board finishes in two of her three starts since joining the J Tyler Servis barn. The most recent of those came when nine-and-a-half-lengths second in a four runner $50,000 starter contest over a mile at Aqueduct last month. Registered a fair 50.31 four furlong breeze here recently and she looks up to taking this contest having run well when third in a similar race to this over a mile-and-forty-yards here on her penultimate start in December.
4:20 pm ET Parx (Race 9) – Beren 6/5 (2-star play)
Successful in ten of his 25 starts including six times at this venue the Weigelia entire followed up a win in a similar race to this over course and distance with a two-and-a-quarter-length third in the Grade 3 General George Stakes over seven furlongs at Laurel last month. The tactically versatile five-year-old represents the Robert E Reid Jr stable who are having a good meet and he can help them improve on their impressive 34% strike-rate (11/32) at this meeting.
