The Cairo Prince gelding demonstrated good form in Florida during the winter, finishing on the board on his final 2 starts for previous trainer Jane Cibeli.
He has changed trainer since finishing 3rd in a $12,500 claiming contest over a mile at Gulfstream Park in January and with the drop in grade in his favour he is taken to make his first start for his new handler a winning one with jockey Silvestre Gomez looking to enhance his impressive 20% (30/148) strike-rate.
2:43 pm Parx (Race 5) – Reiterate 5/2
Reiterate impressed when making much of the running to deliver a 6-and-a-half-length victory in a $7,500 course-and- distance claimer earlier this month. She was making her debut for handler Harold Wyner that day, having ended her time with her previous trainer by finishing runner-up in a similar contest. She looks worth another chance at this grade and having drawn the rail is taken to make all under top weight with regular pilot Dexter Haddock booked to ride.

Unbeaten in three starts, this daughter of Il Villano has scored in $25,000 starter optional claiming company on each of her last 2 starts. Racing in 2nd for much of the 6.5-furlong contest at this track last time out, Ernesto Padilla-Preciado’s charge led into the stretch prior to drawing 3 3/4 lengths clear of her 6 rivals.
She had previously been ridden with more restraint and with the extra half-furlong unlikely to prove an issue she can provide jockey Luis Rivera with a winner.
