1:49 pm ET Parx (Race 3) – Nautical Gem 2/1
Louis Linder Jr.’s charge Nautical Gem looks capable of registering a 5th victory in his last 7 starts, having followed up a 3rd-place finish at this track in December by making a winning 2022 debut in scoring by two-and-a-half-lengths when making all the running over this course and distance last month.
She is stepping up slightly in grade but looks capable of handling that rise with a good draw in gate 3 and the Gemologist mare is taken to register win number 9.
4:04 pm Parx (Race 8) – Perfect Revenge 3/1
Jockey Ruben Silvera is taken to register a 2nd victory on the card with Perfect Revenge having performed well enough when ridden with restraint prior to finishing 4th in a 7-furlong starter optional claimer to suggest he can take this contest.
The gelding is making a quick reappearance with that effort coming just a week ago, but the switch to a claimer looks likely to suit and he looks capable of registering his first victory in more than a year.
4:31 pm Parx (Race 9) – One Nation 4/1
One Nation takes the eye here for the powerful Jamie Ness barn. The Union Rags gelding is making a return to this venue having finished down the field when 6th in a starter optional claimer at Laurel earlier this month.
He had previously finished 4th in a small-field starter optional claiming contest over a mile and 70 yards at this track in January. This looks an easier contest and Jaime Rodriguez’s mount looks up to registering a victory having drawn the rail.
