It’s So Easy won her final 2 starts of last year, including by 2 1/2 lengths in a $12,5000 starter optional claimer over a mile at Parx in November. She returned from a short break with an impressive success in an allowance event over the same trip there in January.
Given a break since, she should have no issues class-wise back in a starter optional claimer and is taken to help handler Guadalupe Preciado improve on his 27% strike-rate (12/45) at Parx since the meeting began.
4:14 pm ET Parx (Race 8) – Chub Wagon 9/5 (2-star play)
The winner of 10 of her 11 career starts, Chub Wagon suffered a first defeat when runner-up in a 6-furlong sloppy track stakes event at Parx in August last year. She has subsequently delivered 2 stakes race victories including over a mile and 1/16th there the following month.
She has impressed with her morning work in recent weeks and looks up to making a winning seasonal debut switched to turf. Silvestre Gonzalez is booked to ride following a 45.84 4-furlong work just under 2 weeks ago.
4:58 pm ET Parx (Race 10) – Loose Ends 3/1 (2-star play)
Loose Ends has placed in 4 consecutive starts in allowance optional claiming races, including when half a length 2nd in a mile contest at Parx last month. A switch to Delaware Park brought about a wide margin 10 1/2-length triumph in a sloppy track mile starter optional claimer earlier this month on his latest outing.
He makes the switch to turf today and is selected to help handler Cathal Lynch improve on his impressive 27% strike-rate (9/33) at this meeting with regular pilot Jorge Ruiz in the saddle.
