A debut winner at Laurel just over a year ago the Vancouver filly made her first start at this venue a winning one when delivering an all the way victory in a $12,500 claiming event here at the end of December. Placed second in a starter optional claimer when unable to dominate here at the start of this month and dropping in grade and having drawn the rail here she looks up to registering a third career success.
2:40 pm Parx (Race 6) – Secret Alliance 6/5
Demonstrated a good level of ability when finishing runner-up, beaten two lengths by a more experienced rival when debuting in a six furlong maiden special weight here in December. Proved a slightly disappointment when John Servis’ charge could finish only fourth upped half-a-furlong in trip here at the end of last month. Looks the pick on form in this contest however and can break his maiden at the third time of asking with a top jockey in Frankie Pennington up.
4:28 pm Parx (Race 10) – Handy 2/1
The winner of two of his last three starts the son of Tiznow finished strongly having been ridden with restraint prior to winning by one-and-a-half-lengths in a seven furlong starter allowance at Aqueduct a month ago. Caught the eye when finishing well to finish a close up fourth over this course and distance prior to that. Was making his first start at this venue that day and Wayne Potts’ charge can record the fifth win of his career.
