A three time winner already this year the son of Will Take Charge put a below par starter allowance effort here behind him when finishing a half-length second in a mile claiming event on the main track here last month. The extra sixteenth here should prove no issue and having delivered a solid 50.71 four furlong breeze here earlier this month he is taken to deliver a fourth victory of the year dropping in grade for this contest.

4:39 pm Parx (Race 9) – Thundershook 8/5

Completed a hat-trick when delivering a three length victory having raced prominently in an allowance optional claimer over a mile-and-seventy-yards at Delaware Park at the end of June. Could finish only third in a small field at Pimlico subsequently but looks capable of putting that disappointment behind him switched to a starter optional claiming race for trainer Jamie Ness who currently leads the track trainer standings and can boast a 35% strike-rate (119/340) at this meet.
