Trained by Scott Lake the five-year-old has won just once from 19 previous starts. However he has shown solid form in starter optional claiming company of late finishing on the board in his last two starts and this level including when runner-up over track and trip in February. Delivered a decent effort when four lengths fifth over the same course and distance when contesting an allowance contest subsequently. Looks capable of doubling his career tally with Anthony Y Nunez up.

The Danza gelding has performed well in two of his three starts since joining the Philip T Aristone barn having been beaten into second in a $20,000 claimer over six furlongs at Churchill Downs in November. Registered a length success in a $16,000 starter optional claiming race over this track and trip when last in action at the end of January. Delivered a number of timed works since then and is selected to complete a double having drawn the rail.

The winner of two of his six starts to date the five-year-old has finished on the board in both starts this year having mad just three starts last year. Missed most of 2022 but has shown good form min two starts since returning including when half-a-length second in a seven furlong allowance here last month. The step up in trip here should suit and he is taken to go one better with Frankie Pennington in the saddle.
