Showed ability when finishing ten lengths fifth having had issues at the start over five-and-one-half-furlongs at Laurel on debut and showed improved form when beaten six lengths into second switched to Penn National at the end of last month. Her jockey that day Carol Cedeno is again in the saddle here and the daughter of Uptowncharlybrown is taken to get off the mark at the third time of asking upped slightly in trip on her first start at this venue.
4:35 pm Parx (Race 9) – I Am Redeemed 5/2 (2-star play)
Penny Pearce boasts a 26% strike-rate (11/42) at this meeting and her representative looks up to making a winning return to stakes racing. The son of Redeemed finished third in a mile stakes contest at this circuit back in December prior to making a winning seasonal debut when making all in an allowance optional claimer over the same course and distance at the end of last month. Selected to defy a wide draw with regular pilot Abner Adorno up.
5:06 pm Parx (Race 10) – Cinnabunny 7/2 (2-star play)
Ended last year with an impressive three-and-three-quarter-length triumph in a six furlong stakes event at Remington Park in September. Delivered a highly promising fourth over six-and-one-half-furlongs here when making her seasonal debut last month. Has demonstrated good form in the mornings since including when delivering a 48.80 four furlong work at Fair Hills earlier this month and the tactically versatile mare looks up to providing trainer Cathal Lynch and jockey Jorge Ruiz with a stakes winner.
